Scarborough Day Trip - Saturday 2nd September
Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children) £40
End the summer break in style and join us for a day out in Scarborough. Scarborough is your quintessential British Seaside town, complete with sandy beaches, fish and chip shops, amusement arcades and ice-cream parlors. Bring your buckets, spades and beachwear to make the most of the seaside. If you don’t fancy the beach, Scarborough has lots of other attractions to offer including the Sea Life Sanctuary, Scarborough Castle, or simply enjoy a spot of retail therapy. After a day of exploring we will board the coach at 5pm to head back home, dropping off at Brough St Giles first.
BBC Good Food Show at Birmingham NEC - Thursday 30th November
£47.50 per person including admission to the Good Food Show & seat in the 'Big Kitchen'
We will travel directly to Birmingham via the motorway making a short stop on route. A courier service will be available on board our luxury coach selling a range of hot drinks to make your journey more comfortable. We will hand out your show tickets on board the coach which will also give you a standard seat in the ‘Big Kitchen’ at 3.30pm where you will be able to watch Tom Kerridge demonstrate his festive recipes. Whether you decide to spend the day watching demonstrations by some of Britain’s top chefs, visit the skills school, or wander through the vast shopping areas of over 500 exhibitors, it will be your tastiest day out this year! Shopping areas for Winter 2017 include: The Producer’s Village, Drinks Market, Cakes & Bakes Village and the Christmas Shopping Market.
After an enthralling day, we will board the coach at 4.45pm to head home, when we will be able to provide approximate drop off times.
Castle Howard at Christmas - Wednesday 13th December
£42 per person including entrance to Castle Howard & Afternoon Tea
Set in the Yorkshire countryside the private residence has been in the Howard family for over 300 years. With its formal gardens, 127-acre Park, and 145 rooms, Castle Howard is one of England’s largest country houses.
We will arrive just after 10am, and you will be able to spend the day exploring the house with its splendor. The grand interior will be transformed into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights, glittering baubles and flickering candles. As you wander through the breathtaking architecture and collections you will be able to enjoy the joyful live music that will fill the halls.
Take time to wander outside and visit the Courtyard Stables where you will be able to browse the Christmas Market, with a range of unique Christmas gifts, crafts and food, a perfect opportunity to pick up some last-minute gifts.
We will board the coach at 2.30pm, to begin our journey home stopping at the Angel Inn at Topcliffe for afternoon tea. We will aim to leave the Angel Inn at 4.45pm, dropping off at Brough St Giles first at approximately 5.20pm.
