Edinburgh  Break

We will travel direct to Edinburgh stopping for a break at The Blacksmiths, Gretna Green.  The estimated time of arrival in Edinburgh should be approximately 2pm where the coach will drop you off at near Princess Street for shopping or sightseeing if required. The coach will continue to the hotel, The Edinburgh Marriott Hotel on Glasgow Road, anyone who has alighted in the city is welcome to leave their luggage and the courier will check it in with the concierge. The bus will return at 5.00pm to pick up anyone who chose to go into Edinburgh earlier in the day to return to the hotel.

The Edinburgh Marriott hotel is a 4* hotel offering leisure facilities including swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool. It has excellent transport links to and from the centre of Edinburgh with a service bus passing every few minutes. It is nestled between the Gyle Shopping centre and Gyle public park, with attractions such as Edinburgh Zoo & Murrayfield just a short distance away.

You will have the next few days at your leisure, take time to visit some of Edinburgh’s famous attraction; Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Britannia Yacht or The Real Mary King’s Close – a series of underground hidden streets with stories to tell!

We will reconvene on Monday morning, were the coach will be open at 9.30am for anyone to board their luggage, before the coach departs the hotel at 1.30pm to head home.
