After we all board the coach, we will make our way directly to Chester with a short comfort stop on route. You will have all day to explore the city, with its medieval buildings Chester is one of England’s best preserved walled cities. You could kick start your Christmas shopping, or spend time relaxing on a city cruise on the River Dee. Chester is also home to the largest Roman amphitheater in Britain, used for entertainment and military training by the 20th Legion and which is free to visit. You can also join a Roman Tour of the city where your very own centurion will give you an insight into Roman Chester. Or if you decide to visit Cheshire Oaks, you will find an array of designer and well-known high-street stores at discount prices. Cheshire Oaks boasts to be the largest outlet centre in the UK, complete with restaurants allowing you to refuel during the day.
The coach will pick those in Chester up at 4.00pm, and Cheshire Oaks at 4.30pm to begin our journey to our hotel for the evening, Shankly Hotel, located in Liverpool City Centre. The 4* hotel is located a stones throw from famous landmarks such as the Cavern, National Museum and Albert Dock. Once we have checked in your have the evening at your leisure to explore Liverpool.
After a leisurely breakfast, you have the rest of the day to explore Liverpool, before we meet at the hotel at 3.30pm to make our journey home.
